WINS "BEST LOCAL SHORT" AT THE 2007 ATLANTA UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL!
Thursday, August 23, 2007, THE STREET CLEANER by Perpombellar Productions screened at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival. On Saturday, August 25, THE STREET CLEANER screened again for the "Best Of" Selections, and was awarded "Best Local Short" in the festival. The "Best Of" were eight films selected from 80 short films in competition. In the movie, prostitutes are disappearing from Savannah's Historic District. As police hunt for a serial killer, the local media fuels the city's fear. Jamie, a heroin-addicted streetwalker, doesn't imagine that she could be next. She could also be dead wrong.
Perpombellar Productions is a digital film studio located in Savannah, Georgia. For this project, Eric Nauert acted as Executive Producer, Jody Schiesser as Producer, and Nathaniel Nauert as Director. The Atlanta Underground Film Fest screening at The Earl was the Atlanta premiere for the film.
As you can imagine, all of us involved in the making of the film are incredibly thrilled. This was festival #2 for us. Next up, the Charlotte Film Festival!
