THE STREET CLEANER SCREENS AS AN OFFICIAL SELECTION OF THE CHARLOTTE FILM FESTIVAL!
THE STREET CLEANER played to captivated audiences at the Charlotte Film Festival September 7, 2007. All three of us attended and had a wonderful experience: great films, enthusiastic audiences, a fun city, and an incredible crew for their festival staff (thank you Louis, Maggie, Pamela, Sam, Natalie, and everyone else). We were also a nominee for the Indie Spirit Award!
In the movie, prostitutes are disappearing from Savannah's Historic District. As police hunt for a serial killer, the local media fuels the city's fear. Jamie, a heroin-addicted streetwalker, doesn't imagine that she could be next. She could also be dead wrong.
Perpombellar Productions is a digital film studio located in Savannah, Georgia. For this project, Eric Nauert acted as Executive Producer, Jody Schiesser as Producer, and Nathaniel Nauert as Director.
This was festival #3 for us. Next up, Boston!
