Cost: FreeThe award-winning short film THE STREET CLEANER premieres in Savannah as part of Cindigenous (Cinema + Indigenous), a showcase of films highlighting the growing local film production industry in Savannah. This event is sponsored by the Savannah Film Commission and the Telfair's Jepson Center for the Arts.
THE STREET CLEANER, written and directed by Nathaniel Nauert, is the first film from Savannah-based Perpombellar Productions.
Film Synopsis: As prostitutes disappear from Savannah's Historic District, one savvy streetwalker believes it could never happen to her.
We at Perpombellar Productions look forward to sharing our film with the Savannah community that has been so supportive in its creation.
Films accompanying THE STREET CLEANER include AND THEN SHE WAS GONE, starring Savannah native and Oscar Nominee Diana Scarwid, and THE MADNESS OF BEING, an internationally award-winning stop motion animation film by Hal Miles.
The films will be followed by a Q&A Session with the Filmmakers.
