Jody Schiesser is a writer, artist, and filmmaker. He and his colleagues at Perpombellar Productions are responsible for films such as the award-winning short THE STREET CLEANER, their new 2009 short, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and their feature-length drama, TRUMPET MY RETURN, currently in post-production. Jody is also one of the Associate Producers for the Style Network’s hit TV-series RUBY. Some of his other activities include being a website architect and a photographer of artistic nudes. Born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Jody now lives in Savannah, Georgia, with his remarkable and understanding wife Sarah and his sons Finn and Talon, who constantly astonish him.

Nathaniel Nauert has immersed himself in film and video since the early 1990’s, when he launched his career as a television photojournalist. Since then, he’s shot news and sporting events, and written and produced TV commercials across the country. While working in Boston, Massachusetts, he followed a story about a serial killer who targeted prostitutes. This experience inspired his screenplay, THE STREET CLEANER. In 2006, he settled in Savannah, Georgia, where he teamed up with his brother, Eric Nauert, and good friend, Jody Schiesser to create Perpombellar Productions. The company’s first release was THE STREET CLEANER, which went on to receive numerous awards. Since then he has served as Director of Photography on Perpombellar's short film, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and their feature, TRUMPET MY RETURN. In 2009, he and Eric wrote and directed the 48 Hour Film Project entry, RENFIELD'S SYNDROME, which took home honors for Best Acting, Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Film.

By day, Eric Nauert manages the Georgia Public Broadcasting radio station in Savannah. In 2006, he joined forces with his brother, Nathaniel Nauert, and friend, Jody Schiesser, to found Perpombellar Productions and begin working on their award-winning short film THE STREET CLEANER.  Several projects followed. Currently, Eric is in post-production on the company's first feature film, TRUMPET MY RETURN, which he wrote and directed.  He calls the film “part thriller, part sentimental journey, and part sleight-of-hand.”  A perpombellar is a contraption Eric imagined when he was three years old.
